Time (and Stress) Management
Monday, December 20th, 2010If you’re like most students, time management is a lost art; and without its inclusion in your daily repertoire your life can spiral out of control. So, what’s a hard-working student to do, you ask? Easy. Try to incorporate the following tips into your daily activities (school or otherwise) and you’ll soon be on your way to less stress and more time what we like to call the winning combination of success.USE YOUR STRENGTHS. If you know you have more energy and retain more information in the mornings, then make a point to utilize that time studying. Likewise, if you do your best work at night, allocate that time to hit the books and not the television. It’s a simple self-examination that will allow you to use the resources you already have to their fullest potential.LISTS HELP. A lot of people derive enormous pleasure (and motivation) by being able to mark something off of a list. Others use lists to keep priorities in focus. Either way, studies have shown that productivity increases with the use of a list, so we suggest you start using one. One caveat, though; don’t spend (more…)
